El passat 18 de desembre de 2016 ens va deixar en Joan Lluís Ferret i Pujol . Va ser enginyer tècnic industrial, diplomat a l’Escola d’Administració d’Empreses (EAE) i per l’Institut d’Estudis Empresarials (IESE) en Direcció d’empreses. Professionalment es va iniciar a l’Escola d’aprenents de La Seda de Barcelona on ràpidament va passar a ocupar un lloc de tècnic a la mateixa empresa. Al llarg de la seva vida va treballar a diferents empreses fins que va acabar la seva vida laboral a l’empresa ABB Metron passant a ocupar càrrecs directius.
Acabada la seva trajectòria laboral realitzà treballs sobre la història del Prat, seguint els passos del seu germà Josep Ferret.
Va ser col·laborador habitual del periòdic Delta, va publicar articles tècnics a la revista Tècnica i Pràctica i va presentar diferents cursos d’història del Prat amb Amics d’el Prat.
